    Charles "Chas" Lengyel

    November 3, 1938 - April 2, 2014

    Charles “Chas” Lengyel, 75, of Monongahela, passed away peacefully in his home, on Wednesday, April 2, 2014, with his wife and daughter by his side. A son of the late John and Helen Antolick Lengyel, he was born in Ellsworth on November 3, 1938.  Chas was a US Army Veteran, a welder for the Steamfitter’s Local #354, and was a member of the Mon Valley Country Club.  He and his wife loved to travel to the Carolinas to escape from winter and enjoy his past time of golf.  He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Donna J. Coulter Lengyel; a son Sean Lengyel of Douglasville, GA; a daughter and son-in-law, Renee M. and Mick Carcella of Dunlevy; a step-son and his wife, Eric C. and Mary Wall or Tabernacle, NJ; a step daughter and her husband, Valerie S.  and Doug Baker of East Upland, IN; two brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Jane Lengyel and Stephen and Karen Lengyel and a sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Dal Cosgrove, all of Port Orange, FL; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild to arrive in May.  There will be no public visitation or services.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300. www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com
