Glenn Kay Pore, 87, of Belle Vernon, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 2, 2021. A son of the late Lewis and Mildred Powell Pore, he was born in Pricedale on January 6, 1934. Glenn attended Lynnwood Lutheran Church and the former Pricedale Union Church. He had been employed as a warehouse manager at the Westinghouse Atomic Plant in West Mifflin, retiring in 1992. Following retirement, he was self employed as an electrician for many years. Glenn was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean war and served in White Sands, NM. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirate, Penguin, and Panther fan. He enjoyed playing basketball and softball in his younger years and loved being an umpire and officiant for softball church leagues. Glenn loved trains and train travel, once taking a 30-day Amtrak journey throughout the United States. He is survived by two daughters and sons in-law, Cheryl and Robert Fanello of Ft. Worth, TX and Nancy Jo and James Williams of Bumpass, VA; a daughter in-law, Renee Harrington of Granbury, TX; and six grandchildren, Malary Jones, Jessica Hillman, Marissa Pore, Gracie Pore, Chris Fanello, and Alyssa Fanello. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, James K. Pore in 2008; two brothers, Kenneth Pore and Donald Pore; and a sister and brother in-law, Lois and Rudy Clay. A memorial service will be held at a date and time to be announced.
