Jack L. Palmer, 83, of Bethel Park, formerly of Whitehall went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 15, 2016 in Paramount Senior Living of Bethel Park. A son of the late Harry and Hannah Blower Palmer, he was born in Fayette City on July 21, 1932. A member of the F. and A. M. Lodge 252, he had served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War in Germany. An administrator in the Pittsburgh Public School, Jack had served in many various administrative positions in his 29 years including principal of the Carrick High School and retired in 1988. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Bonnie King Palmer, one son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Karen L. Palmer of Jefferson Hills, one brother, Harry Palmer of Fayette City and two grandchildren, Kalen and Kamden Palmer. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Tuesday in the Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon. www.FergusonFuneralHomeAndCrematory.com Funeral services will be at 12 P.M. in the funeral home Wednesday. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery. The members of Tri-County F. & A.M. Lodge 252 will meet in the funeral home to hold services at 7:30 P.M. Tuesday.
