James Lee Mullen

James Lee Mullen, 90, of Fairhope, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022. A son of the late William and Minnie Vitula Mullen, he was born in Fairhope on February 12, 1932. A lifelong resident of Fairhope, James was a member of the Marion Presbyterian Church, the Lions Club, and the Fayette City American Legion. He had been employed as a pipefitter for U.S. Steel, Irvin Works, retiring in 1988. James was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a devoted son who loved woodworking, gardening, and fishing. He is survived by many nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving of his siblings who preceded him in death; Marilyn Legg, Dolores Stoessner, Theda Nedzweiki, William Mullen, and Eddie Mullen. There will be no public visitation or services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon. 724-929-5300. Interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
