    LaVaughn Mae "Bonnie" Palmer

    March 26, 1933 - March 31, 2017

    LaVaughn Mae "Bonnie" Palmer, 84, of Bethel Park, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 31, 2017 at Paramount Senior Living of Bethel Park. A daughter of the late Eugene and Nevada King Rhodes, she was born in Mt. Pleasant on March 26, 1933. Bonnie graduated from Marion High School in 1950 and was a member of the Hamilton Presbyterian Church. In 1957, Bonnie married the late Jack L. Palmer, who passed away on May 15, 2016, and they made their home in Belle Vernon. They moved to Baldwin in 1965 and then to Bethel Park in May of 2015. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Karen L. Palmer of Jefferson Hills; two grandchildren, Kalen and Kamden Palmer; and a brother-in-law, Harry Palmer of Fayette City. In addition to her parents, and her husband Jack of 59 years, she is preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Patricia Palmer. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Monday in the Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 724-929-5300, 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon. www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com A funeral service will be in the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Steven Parkhill officiating. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.
