Lucy J. Gondak Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Lucy J. Gondak, 88, of Belle Vernon, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 26, 2022. A daughter of the late Malcolm and Hilda Lapson Russell, she was born September 6, 1933 in Monongahela. Living most of her adult life in Belle Vernon, Lucy was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Belle Vernon and worked for 30 years at the former Charland Sewing Co. in Speers retiring in the early 90’s. Survivors include one daughter, Denise Angelo of Belle Vernon, two granddaughters, Chelsea Angelo of Belle Vernon and Hayley Angelo of Monongahela, three great grandchildren, Sophia Angelo, Rylie Ziemba, and Karson Angelo, a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Russell of Donora, and a son-in-law John Angelo of Monessen. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Gondak on March 20, 2007 and a brother Duncan Russell in 2007. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 P.M. and 7 to 9 P.M. in the Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon. 724-929-5300. www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com.
