Rolland W. Harp, 84, of Rostraver Twp (Collinsburg), passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2011, in Briarcliff Pavilion for Specialized Care. A son of the late Harry B. and Effie Binckley Harp, he was born in Lancaster, OH on October 16, 1926. Rolland was a retired truck driver and an avid reader. He was in the Army Air Corp. and served in W.W. II. Survivors include his companion, Joanne Pierce, with whom he resided, two sons and one daughter-in-law, Paul and Judy Harp of Bremen, OH, Michael Darbyshire of Orlando, FL, three grandchildren, Bryan Harp, Cody Harp and Todd Darbyshire, and three great-grandchildren, Aaron, Joseph and Zachary Darbyshire. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300, www.FergusonFuneralHomeAndCrematory.com. There will be no public visitation or funeral service.
