She was born on March 10, 1927, a daughter of the late William and Hilda (Guder) Wineland. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Lydia Manzini, of Greensburg, granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Darcy and Jeffrey Fearer, of Latrobe, step-grandchildren; Pete and Leanne Dasta, of New Stanton, and James and Gina Skinner, of Greensburg, great-grandchildren, Ben and Katie Fearer, and step-great-grandchildren; Noah Loughner, Mackynzie and Kiersten Skinner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Manzini, sisters; Velma Gray, Jean Manzini, Lois Nagy, and Betty Kibler, and brother, Bill Wineland. Ruth was a wonderfully caring, fun, and strong mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Ruth even sent a poem to President Kennedy and received a thank you letter back from him. It was later published in the newspaper. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Monday in the Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon. 724-929-5300 www.FergusonFuneralHomeAndCrematory.com Funeral services will be in the funeral home at 10 A.M. Tuesday with Pastor Donna Gabler of Charter Oak Church officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
